Established: June 1948 and was named after Father David Moran who had been St. Michael’s priest in the 1930s and 40s, we have 11 members at the present time, 3 of them have been members since the circle was established over 59 years ago. We meet the 3rd Friday afternoon of each month at 1:00 p.m. Each member takes her turn hosting these meetings. We start with desert and coffee, then a short business meeting. After the meeting we play 500 with the hostess awarding prizes to the winners. The exception to this is the annual potluck Christmas Party and most years we have a summer picnic.
Function: We belong to the funeral brigade and are called upon to help serve funeral luncheons. We host coffee Sunday the month of February. We donate Christmas gifts to local families in need each year.
