First Degree Congratulations to Greg Berg, Greg Nordling, Doug Nordling, John Brunett from the Farmington Council and George Mahowald from Lakeville Council. They received First Degree initiation on Jan. 6th. Welcome to the Knights of Columbus, you have joined a great organization. I would also like to thank the First Degree team, they did an excellent job conducting the Degree.

Prolife Breakfast Thank you to everyone who helped at the breakfast. We served 252 people and took in $1097.00. A check will be sent to Prolife Across America, in the amount of $697.00.

DARTS Breakfast This will be on Feb. 1st- Bud Neer will be chairing this event. Please call Bud if you can help at 952-431-4572.

KC Aprons Anyone who ordered an apron, can pick them up at the DARTS breakfast or at our meeting Feb. 3rd.

Free Throw Contest 72 kids entered the contest this year, which was a very good turnout. There were five age groups of boys and girls. Congratulations to the 5 boys and 5 girls who took 1st place. They will receive a $20.00 gift certificate for Sportsmart I would like to thank Tim Weyandt, who chaired this event and also everyone who helped. Everyone did a great job with helping the kids!

Fourth Degree There will be a speaker at the Feb 3rd meeting, to talk about the Fourth Degree. Members of the Fourth Degree from Farmington, Lakeville, Rosemount and Eagan have started a new Council in Dakota County.

Bowling Tournament A registration form and letter in regards to the bowling tournament is with the newsletter this month. Pete Chown will be chairing the event this year. If you receive the newsletter by email, look for both the registration form and letter in your email.

Spaghetti Dinner Mark your calendars for Feb. 21st which will be our annual Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo. Bud Neer, Gene Brand, Jerry Cyrus and Mike Mahlow will be chairing this event. Bingo Night A big thank you to Bud, Gene, Mike and everyone who helped with the Bingo and Sloppy Joe dinner Sat. Jan. 17th. You all did a great job! We took in $1155.00, the expenses are estimated at about $650.00 Special Thanks to the Ladies Auxiliary for bringing bars.
