Knights of Columbus Banquet

Our Knights Banquet was held on April 23 at the Eagles Club. 80 people attended. Our guest speaker was Pastor Dave Mesaros, Associate Pastor, Farmington Lutheran Church. The Family of the Year Award was awarded to Robert and Angela Kierski. The Knight of the Year Award was awarded to Jeff Hince. Congratulations to each. Special thanks to Jim and Theresa Czech, Andy Derner, and Gayle Boudreau for chairing this event. Great job. Thank you to Dick Gerten, Farmington Green House, for the floral arrangements and Dan and Lavonne Nicolai, Castle Rock Bank, for the head table centerpiece.

Mason, Lions, Knights Picnic

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 16, at the Andy Derner farm on County Road 66, east of Farmington 3.5 miles. The Masons will host the meal this year. Andy will need help to set up this event. Please call him if you can help, 651-463-8301. Everyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy food, fellowship, and card games that evening; eating at 6:30. Happy hour at 5:30 pm. Look for balloons on the mailbox. Hope to see you there.

Grand Knight’s Report

A 1st degree will be held before the June 6 general meeting, so sign up a new member.

Pancake Breakfast, May 7, for the St. John’s Seminarians. Duane Eich and Bud Neer are chairing this event. Give them a call to volunteer. Duane—651-460-6000. Bud—952-431-4572.

We will be nominating next year’s officers at the May meeting. Election will be held at the June meeting.


Rambling River Days will be held in June. We will have a convertible in the parade and will need volunteers to walk with the vehicle and hand out candy.
