Grand Knight’s Report



Brother Knight, Ken Gerten, is at United Hospital--pray for his speedy recovery.

Thank you to all the volunteers who worked at the Third Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo. A special thanks to Bud Neer, Mike Mahlow, and Gene Brand who chaired this event. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit kitchen needs. Great job everyone!

Congratulations again to our new 1st degree members: Kevin Manthey, Jeff Huber, Kurt Kelzenberg, who receive their 1st degree at St. Michael’s.

Congratulations also to Jacob Devney, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree, Edmund Schultz, 2nd and 3rd degree, Mark Schneider, 2nd and 3rd degree, and Patrick Garofalo, 2nd and 3rd degree who received their degrees at Faribault last weekend.

Mark your calendars: our Knights of Columbus banquet will be held April 23, 2006, at the Eagles Club. More information will be in our next newsletter. We’d like to have a large turnout—so please MARK YOUR CALENDARS.


We have a pancake breakfast scheduled for February 26, proceeds for DARTS. Gayle Boudreau will chair this event. Please give him a call to volunteer. 651 463-4983.


2006 membership dues are due.

There are some Brother Knights that are behind in their dues two years or more. I would like those Brother Knights to think about the good deeds the Knights do locally and throughout the world. If, for some reason, you do not want to continue your membership in this great organization, call Jeff Hince, 651-463-2996 and let him know your intent. I believe that after you consider the benefits of being a Knight you will bring your membership up to date. If you are experiencing a financial problem, but want to continue your membership, call Jeff Hince for options available. Thank you.
