If you have an e-mail address and want the newsletter e-mailed to you contact Gayle Boudreau either by calling 651-463-4983 or gboudreau1@yahoo.com. We currently have 96 members on e-mail and are looking for more. This saves the Council a large amount of time and expense over a one-year period.

Drivers Needed

Knights—opportunity for service--volunteers to drive bus for seniors going to 4:30 mass on Saturday. Your obligation would be not more than one Saturday per month. No special license is required. Give Dick Gerten a call at 651 463 7422. Thank you.

Gayle Boudreau won the attendance award for February, 2006, meeting.

Grand Knight’s Report

Thank you to the 1st Degree team for the 1st Degree held last month and congratulations to our three new 1st Degree members.

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped at the Pro Life pancake breakfast. Good job.

Thank you to the volunteers who worked at the Free Throw Contest. We had 63 girls and boys, ages 10-14, participate. The 10 winners move to the District to be held February 4 in Lakeville. Thanks to Tim Weyandt for bringing all the equipment and advertising in the schools. Great job everyone.

February 4 is our Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo after 4:30 mass. We NEED VOLUNTEERS for this event so give Bud Neer a call, 952-431-4572 or call me at 651-463-2952.

Before our regular meeting, February 7, 7:00 pm, Kids ‘n Kinship will be making a presentation. This is a mentoring organization for Dakota County—see attachment and hope to see you all there.

The Mayor's Ball is February 25th 6:00pm - 12:00am. We need about 3 people to work in the kitchen making coffee and washing dishes. Work will be in shifts so you don't have to stay for the entire night. Call Jerry Cyrus or Bud Neer if you can help.

The real reason we can’t have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse?
You can’t post “thou shalt not steal,” “thou shalt not
commit adultery,” and “thou shalt not lie” in a building full
of lawyers, judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work
environment.
