Drivers Needed

Knights—opportunity for service--volunteers to drive bus for seniors going to 4:30 mass on Saturday. Your obligation would be not more than one Saturday per month. No special license is required. Give Dick Gerten a call at 651 463 7422. Thank you.

Turkey Bingo Saturday, November 19, 2005, St. Michael’s Social Hall

The Knights of Columbus will host a Turkey Bingo night on Saturday, November 19, 2005, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. 4:30 mass will be followed by a Sloppy Joe dinner and Bingo.

Grand Knight’s Report

Thank you to Gayle Boudreau and his volunteers for crating all the stained glass windows for storage.

Thank you to Vince Olson for chairing the first pancake breakfast this fall, and thank you to all the volunteers who helped. We grossed approximately $720. We have another pancake breakfast scheduled November 13, 2005. We still need a chairperson for this breakfast—so be a volunteer and give Joe Hajduk a call, 952-431-4643.

Our turkey bingo is November 19, 2005. Gene Brand says he is still in need of a few volunteers for this event. His number is 952-953-0197.

The Old Timers’ dinner was attended by nine members of our Council. Thank you to Pete Chown for fulfilling the duties of this Grand Knight at this dinner.

The Light Up for Christ ceremony will be held December 6, 2005, 8:00 p.m., following the General Meeting. Volunteers will be needed December 5 to set up the manger scene. Please contact Andy Derner, 651-463-8301.

We are going to have a 1st Degree in January, 2006, so sign up a new member NOW.
