Drivers Needed

Volunteers to drive bus for seniors going to 4:30 mass on Saturday. Your obligation would be not more than one Saturday per month. No special license is required. Give Dick Gerten a call at 651-463-7422. Thank you.

Jim Czech won the attendance award for the October meeting.

Grand Knight’s Report

Thank you to Bill Stephen and Vince Olson and their volunteers. Bill was in charge of cooking the chicken, and Vince was in charge of the KC trailer, at the Fall Festival. Good job. Thanks again.

As we move into October the activities for the Council start to pick up speed. October 9 the Auxiliary has their Belgian Waffle Breakfast for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.

On October 18 the old timers’ dinner will be held in New Prague.

October 23 we have our first pancake breakfast. Proceeds go toward refinishing of the wood around St. Michael’s church windows.

There was a pair of sunglasses left in the KC trailer at the County Fair on Monday evening. If they are your glasses give Jim Czech a call.

Hope to see you all at our October general meeting. Remember to recruit a new member; most just need to be asked.

If you are a Brother Knight that has never worked a pancake breakfast, give Vince a call—it’s a lot of fun! If you are an old hand at working pancake breakfasts, give Vince a call and let him know you will be there. The pancake breakfast proceeds will go towards refinishing the wood around the Church windows.
