Once again we will be offering a light meal for purchase before each evening session.  This will be served in the social hall.  Join us for good food and conversation.

LIFE JAM

Sunday and Wednesday at 6:00 PM

We are excited to introduce the all new LIFE JAM! to our Sunday and Wednesday sessions.  After listening to your input and feedback, we've decided to revamp Praise and Worship and replace it with a shortened, more youth friendly time of gathering that we called LIFE JAM!  During these 20 minutes, all members of LIFE (yes, including parents) join together to be witness to each other in their exciting adventure in learning.  This time will consist of music as well as relevant information about the evening's topic.  Activities will range from guest speakers to popular game shows like Jeopardy, introduction to prayer as well as family activities.  Make sure to attend and contribute your energy to the growing dynamic of the LIFE program.

PS.  Parents, yes you do need to participate.  Not only do you mentor your own and other's children by your example, but we are concerned with your child's safety.  During this time, we have a very limited ability of monitoring individuals.  In our endeavor to provide a safe and secure environment for all, we do need you to attend.

Curriculum

The high school (9th and 10th Grade) LIFE program is a 2 year is a two year Confirmation preparation series. Young people will be challenged to:

embrace their baptismal call and experience deeper initiation into a welcoming Church community.

grow in knowledge of the person, mission, and message of Jesus.

understand the nature of the Church and appreciate the role of the sacraments in the Church's life and their own lives.

recognize the activity of the Holy Spirit in their lives and in the life of the Church.

understand the rite of Confirmation and prepare to celebrate it in a meaningful way.

The high school curriculum involves a variety of small group discussion, large group presentations, prayer services, and individual reflection time all designed to help young people grow closer to God and more committed to the Church.
